About the Founder

Once a successful software professional, Jimsha Malayil experienced firsthand the profound transformation yoga can bring to one’s life. What began as a personal journey toward balance and healing soon became a lifelong mission. After over a decade in tech, she realised her calling wasn’t writing code—it was helping people reconnect with their bodies, calm their minds, and live with clarity.

Her curiosity about holistic well-being led her beyond yoga into the world of acupuncture and natural healing. As a certified Single Point Acupuncturist, she deepened her understanding of how body and mind are interconnected and strengthened her belief in the body’s innate capacity to heal.

Jimsha founded Habit Academy to help people create lasting lifestyle changes—transformations that go beyond short-term motivation and instead focus on building sustainable daily habits. Through workshops, coaching, and practical tools, Habit Academy has helped individuals bridge the gap between “wanting to change” and actually living that change.

As the founder of Nirvaana Yoga, she brings together the science of yoga, the wisdom of traditional healing, and the accessibility of modern teaching. Her philosophy is simple: wellness is never one-size-fits-all—every person’s journey is unique, and guidance should meet them exactly where they are.

Through Nirvaana Yoga and Habit Academy, Jimsha continues to inspire thousands—proving that wellness isn’t just a class you attend or a habit you try for a week, but a way to live, heal, and thrive in a fast-paced world.
