About the Founder

Dr. Yamini Rani is one of the rare yoga therapists whose life has been wholly dedicated to the science of therapeutic yoga. With over 25 years of specialised experience, she has helped thousands recover from illness through highly personalised yoga practices, each one tailored to the unique needs of the individual.

In 2008, her expertise and contributions were recognised when she was awarded the Best Doctorate in Yoga by Health Care International. Driven by her vision of a society free from lifestyle diseases, she founded Nirvaana Yoga Academy, an organisation affiliated with the World Yoga Organisation and Yoga Alliance International.

Her therapeutic approach blends ancient Hatha Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation, and Mudra techniques with a modern understanding of the body and mind. Over the years, her programs have helped people manage and heal from conditions such as asthma, hypertension, depression, PCOD, obesity, diabetes, infertility, thyroid disorders, and prenatal/postnatal challenges.
